Bournemouth finally dug themselves out of the League Two relegation places with victory over Aldershot.
The Cherries, who began the season on -17 points after failing to exit administration, took the lead thanks to Danny Holland's left-footed drive.
Steve Fletcher, who rejoined from Crawley, scored the second with a powerful header.
Bournemouth's Brett Pitman had a shot saved by Alex McCarthy, while Andy Sandell went closest for the Shots.
