Stewart and Moss are the Cherries' only senior goalkeepers |
Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond was concerned after keepers Gareth Stewart and Neil Moss both picked up injuries. "Gareth dislocated his finger in the warm-up, and he was nearly unable to play," boss Kevin Bond revealed after Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Oldham.
"He had to have two injections, and in fairness he did well to perform without anyone knowing he'd done it.
"Neil injured his knee ligaments in training on Friday, and he could be out for a month now."
Moss had only just returned to training after he suffered a facial injury against Milton Keynes Dons, and required eight stitches.
Also joining the Cherries' long injury list against Oldham was striker Sam Vokes, who was stretchered off with a suspected broken rib.
