Roach does not want Cherries job
Bournemouth
Joint caretaker boss Joe Roach has said he does not want to be considered for Bournemouth's managerial vacancy.

Roach, head of youth at Dean Court, has been sharing first-team duties with goalkeeping coach Stuart Murdoch since Sean O'Driscoll left for Doncaster.

However, he wants to continue working with the Cherries' youth team.

"I was offered an interview, which I have declined, but I'll stay with the first team until a new manager is appointed," he told the club website.

"I know where my strengths are and where my focus is.

"I've got 18 young lads who have hopefully got a career in front of them, and they're in the same situation as the players - they want to know where they stand."
