Joint caretaker boss Joe Roach has said he does not want to be considered for Bournemouth's managerial vacancy. Roach, head of youth at Dean Court, has been sharing first-team duties with goalkeeping coach Stuart Murdoch since Sean O'Driscoll left for Doncaster.
However, he wants to continue working with the Cherries' youth team.
"I was offered an interview, which I have declined, but I'll stay with the first team until a new manager is appointed," he told the club website.
"I know where my strengths are and where my focus is.
"I've got 18 young lads who have hopefully got a career in front of them, and they're in the same situation as the players - they want to know where they stand."
