Crewe boss Dario Gradi feels Bournemouth's style will suit Rix |
Bournemouth have signed Crewe Alexandra midfielder Ben Rix on a month's loan. Rix, 22, has made 84 appearances for the Alex since making his debut as a 17-year-old, and also had a short loan spell at Scarborough in October.
"I've enjoyed training with the lads, and Bournemouth seems to have a good set-up," he told the Cherries' website.
"They play the game the right way down here, and I'm excited about the prospect of being part of it. I'm delighted to join up for the month."
Crewe boss Dario Gradi also feels the move could help Rix.
He told his club's website: "He knows he has to get his career going again.
"When Ben went to Scarborough, he didn't get a touch of the ball because of the way they play, and then the manager changed.
"Bournemouth will be different because they play football - the ball won't be whizzing over his head."
