Jaaskelainen has played 425 times over more than a decade at Bolton

Bolton keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has been given a testimonial at the Reebok Stadium against Hibernian on 8 August.

The Edinburgh club are managed by former Wanderers striker Mixu Paatelainen, who, like Jaaskelainen, hails from Finland.

Jaaskelainen, 34, is being rewarded for his long service, having made 425 appearances since joining in 1997.

"I am extremely proud of what I have achieved. To play here for as long as I have is tremendous," he said.

"It is great my fellow countryman will be bringing his team to Bolton. It should be a good curtain-raiser to the new season."
