Bolton keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen will see out the last year of his contract at the Reebok Stadium. The Finn, 32, has turned down the offer of a new deal but will not quit the club this summer, despite interest from Sunderland and Aston Villa.
"Jussi has decided to see out the final year of his contract and assess the situation after that," his agent Peter Harrison told the Daily Mail.
"I've spoken to the manager Sammy Lee and he is delighted."
Jaaskelainen joined Bolton in a �100,000 deal from VPS Vaasa in 1997 and has played 353 games for the Trotters.
