Wolves academy manager Chris Evans is leaving his post after 17 years to join Premier League side Bolton Wanderers as a first-team assistant. He has nurtured some of Wolves' most talented players in recent years.
Evans told the Championship club's website: "My only reason for leaving is to work with senior players, in a senior management position.
"May I place on record my appreciation and gratitude to every member of staff at the academy."
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey added: "He has been involved in creating what I believe to be one of the best FA academies in the country.
"He will be missed but I understand why he has decided to join Bolton."
