Wolves' academy manager Chris Evans says he knew Joleon Lescott would become an international player. The Everton defender came through the Wolves academy and made his England debut in Saturday's win over Estonia.
"To have seen him progress to a senior international is a moment to treasure," Evans told the Wolves website.
"I remember introducing Joleon to Sir Jack Hayward when he was still a schoolboy and telling him not to forget his name as he would play for England."
