 Hunt will not be sidelined too long |
Bolton full-back Nicky Hunt may be fit for the start of the Premiership season on 19 August, despite an injury scare. The 22-year-old damaged his knee during the 2-0 friendly defeat by Derby County on Saturday.
But the problem, which was initially thought to be medial ligament damage, is not as bad as was first feared.
And a relieved Trotters manager Sam Allardyce predicted: "Nicky should be okay to return to playing in two to three weeks."
