Blackpool defender Shaun Barker has signed a new long term contract to stay at Bloomfield Road. The 25-year-old has signed until June 2010 with the club having an option to keep him for a further 12 months.
Barker joined the Seasiders from Rotherham at the start of the 2006/2007 season and has made 74 appearances for the Championship club so far.
He was a key part of Simon Grayson's League One promotion winning side last season and started the play-off final.
