Blackpool defender Phil Doughty has joined Macclesfield Town on a month's loan as he looks for the chance of first-team football. Doughty, 21, has not made a senior appearance for Blackpool for three years following injury problems but has had loan spells at Barrow and Leigh.
Manager Simon Grayson told Blackpool's official website: "It will do Phil the world of good.
"Hopefully he will get some first-team football under his belt."
Doughty has been given permission to play for Macclesfield in their FA Cup first-round tie against Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday.
