Dunn's new deal with Blackburn runs until 2012

Blackburn midfielder David Dunn has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the Premier League side.

The contract will keep the 30-year-old at Ewood Park until the end of the 2011-12 season.

Dunn has been one of Blackburn's best performers this season and is their highest scorer with six goals, five of which have been in the Premier League.

But Dunn has also suffered with a series of injuries since joining from Birmingham in November 2007.

The Blackburn-born midfielder rejoined the club where he started out as a trainee after three seasons at the Blues.
