Jeffers impressed during a loan spell at Portman Road |
Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton has had a 350,000 bid for striker Francis Jeffers rejected by Blackburn. The 26-year-old has failed to make an impact at Ewood Park, but netted four goals in nine appearances during a loan spell at Portman Road.
"We have had an offer from Ipswich and Francis is keen to go there," said Blackburn chairman John Williams.
"We have said that we are prepared to let him go but Ipswich will have to meet our valuation."
Former Everton and Arsenal striker Jeffers joined Blackburn on a two-year deal in July 2006.
But he has only scored one goal for Rovers in 15 appearances - most as a substitute.
