Jeffers scored one goal in three games for Ipswich |
Francis Jeffers is back at Ipswich Town and could extend his loan spell from Blackburn if he continues his rapid recovery from a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old striker returned to Ewood Park after picking up the injury.
But his loan runs until 31 March and Town boss Jim Magilton hopes to extend that until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Ipswich midfielder Sylvain Legwinski (foot) and defender Richard Naylor (toe) have been ruled out for the rest of the season by injury.

Jeffers only played three times for Ipswich before being injured but he was in impressive form and scored in the 5-2 win over Hull.
"I am recovering quicker than expected and have come back to Ipswich for the physio staff to have a look at how things are progressing," the former Everton and Arsenal striker explained.
"I am here for the week to continue my rehab and we will take it from there."
Magilton added: "Much depends on the injury and what Blackburn say but we would love to have Franny here for the rest of the season."
Naylor has been out of action since the beginning of February with bruising in his big toe joint and has now been told to rest completely.
Legwinski was injured in Town's win over Luton on 17 March and a scan revealed a metatarsal injury that will keep him sidelined for six weeks.
