Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor has signed a one-year contract extension at St Andrew's.
The 38-year-old, who joined the club from Fulham in March 2004, made four appearances last season as he deputised for on-loan Joe Hart.
The Northern Ireland international is likely to provide cover for new signing Ben Foster next season.
"I need Maik to drive Ben and he still has the hunger. He is in superb condition," said manager Alex McLeish.
McLeish also revealed that midfielder Keith Fahey will be offered a new deal, less than 18 months after signing from Irish side St Patrick's Athletic.
The 27-year-old has played 53 times for the Blues since joining in January 2009 for an undisclosed fee.
"He came from St Patrick's on buttons. Now he has proved himself to be a Premier League player," said McLeish.
