Sinclair wants to impress at Blues to force his way into Chelsea's plans
Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair is relishing the chance to gain some more first-team experience during his one-month loan stint with Birmingham City.
"I'm 19 and I've got to that age where I need to start playing every week," Sinclair told BBC WM.
"I've been back at Chelsea playing with the likes of Deco and Frank Lampard and all those top stars, but it's time to kick on my career and get games."
Sinclair is set to make his Blues debut on Saturday at Blackpool.
The teenager has previously enjoyed loan spells with Plymouth, QPR, Charlton and Crystal Palace and he had little hesitation in agreeing to a short-term move to St Andrew's.

"There were a few other clubs, but I spoke to people back at Chelsea and we thought it'd be the right club to come to," he said.
"I've just got to put my head down, work 100% and play well.
"Most of the players in this team have been playing in the Premier League, so they'll be able to help me out and I can add a little to the squad."
Although Sinclair has made only 14 first-team appearances in the last two years at Stamford Bridge he remains keen to establish himself with the West London club rather than seeking a permanent move elsewhere.
"At the best club in the world it's going to be difficult for a person my age to be breaking in," said the Bath-born winger.
"All I can keep doing is coming out on loan and make sure this loan spell is one of my best ones so far."
Sinclair was the first of three new loan signings brought in by Blues boss Alex McLeish this week, preceding the arrival of Fulham winger Hameur Bouazza and West Ham midfielder Lee Bowyer.
