Winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie says his arrival at Birmingham City gives him a chance to prove himself in England.
The Ghana international made only one Premier League start for Arsenal before being sold to Spartak Moscow.
He told BBC WM: "I had a couple of chances in the Carling Cup and FA Cup, and played a couple of League games.
"Personally I just feel I have something to prove. I left early, I've been away to Moscow and Spain, but it's always good to come back to England."
