Agustien played for AZ in last season's Uefa Cup campaign

Birmingham City have signed Dutch midfielder Kemy Agustien on a season-long loan from AZ Alkmaar.

Blues have paid a loan fee of around �590,000 for the 21-year-old and have the option of making the deal permanent next summer for �1.575m.

The Holland Under-21 man recently had a hernia operation but is back in training and will be fit for the start of Blues' Championship campaign.

He joins Lee Carsley and Marcus Bent as summer recruits at St Andrew's.
