Birmingham have signed Tunisian midfielder Mehdi Nafti on loan from Spanish club Racing Santander. The 26-year-old has joined the Blues until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent move.
Nafti was born in France but helped Tunisia to victory in the African Nations Cup last year.
He has scored three goals in 75 La Liga appeances since joining Racing from home town club Toulouse in 2000, but was sent off in his last game for them.
