Bath City manager Adie Britton will take over as temporary chairman of the Blue Square Bet Premier club after Geoff Todd decided to step down.
Britton will juggle both roles at Twerton Park until a permanent successor to Todd is found.
Todd came in as City chairman in 2005 and has overseen their rise from the Conference South to mid-table security in non-league's top tier.
Ex-Paulton Rovers boss Andrew Jones has joined City as director of football.
