Barrow bring in Shrimps' Curtis

Barrow

Barrow have signed Morecambe striker Wayne Curtis on a month-long loan.

The 28-year-old Barrow native, who had a loan spell at the club five years ago, is recovering from a rib injury.

The former Holker Old Boys frontman is in line to make his debut in the club's massive FA Cup clash at Premier League side Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Blue Square Premier club have extended the loan spell of Leeds' Scotland Under-21 goalkeeper Alan Martin until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has started 13 league matches for the club and played in both the first and second round of the FA Cup.
