Carlisle 0-2 Colchester

Colchester made it nine games without defeat as they eased to victory at Brunton Park.

Carlisle defender Danny Livesey had an awful start to the game, as his error set up a Colchester attack, which ended with Livesey scoring an own goal.

Carlisle's Cleveland Taylor had a shot turned onto the bar just before half time, but Colchester managed to clear.

Jamie Guy missed a good chance to make it 2-0 before David Perkins poked home after Scott Vernon's shot was blocked.
