Motherwell winger Jim O'Brien has agreed a pre-contract with Championship side Barnsley.
The 22-year-old, who began his career at Celtic before joining Motherwell in 2008, will complete his move to Oakwell on 1 June.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international is also eligible to represent Scotland at senior level.
He has made 63 league appearances for 'Well, netting four goals and was named in the Scottish PFA team of the year.
