Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez says he would consider staying on loan with Championship side Barnsley past his current one-month deal.
The 20-year-old joined the Reds on Monday and scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Preston.
When asked if he would like to stay at Oakwell until the end of the season, Rodrigeuz told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Yeah. I need to be playing.
"We'll see how it goes, but it's great to be involved."
Rodriguez has only just returned to action following four months out with a broken ankle.
"After the injury I need games and this was the club to come to," he added.
