Barnsley face charge over conduct

Coventry v Barnsley
The 94th minute penalty denied Barnsley a crucial win

Barnsley have been charged by the Football Association over the incidents in the aftermath of their match against Coventry City.

The 1-1 draw at the Ricoh Arena on 21 April ended controversially when the Sky Blues were awarded a late penalty.

The kick was ordered by referee Steven Cook on the advice of his assistant Martin Dexter.

Barnsley face a charge of failing to control their players or officials, and have until 27 May to respond.
