Barnsley have completed the signing of Malta international striker Daniel Bogdanovic from Lokomotiv Sofia after he impressed on trial at Oakwell.

The 28-year-old has agreed a deal until 2010 and joins for an undisclosed fee.

Reds manager Simon Davey told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Daniel is a natural finisher. He has a great scoring record and we are delighted to have him."

The Libyan-born ex-Cisco Roma striker could play against Ipswich on Tuesday, subject to international clearance.
