Barnsley want Anderson for longer
Anderson De Silva
Anderson has impressed manager Simon Davey during his loan
Barnsley boss Simon Davey hopes he can extend Everton midfielder Anderson De Silva's loan for a third month.

The Brazilian, 25, has made eight Championship appearances since joining the Tykes in August.

"He has improved us as he brings a Brazilian flair with a European workrate," Davey told the club website.

"As we are outside the transfer window, he will have to go back to Everton after 93 days, so he would return there anyway at the end of November."

Football League rules state that loan deals arranged outside the transfer window are only permitted to run for three months.

However, the clubs would be able to arrange a longer loan during the January transfer window.
