League Two side Barnet have signed Colchester left-back Matt Lockwood on a one-month loan deal.
The 33-year-old, who spent two months at Underhill last season, will provide cover for the injured Kenny Gillet.
"Matt has experience and is an excellent player at this level," Barnet boss Ian Hendon told the club website.
Lockwood joined Colchester from Nottingham Forest in June 2008 but has been told he can leave the Community Stadium at the end of this season.
