Adomah has cored 17 goals in 87 appearances for Barnet
Winger Albert Adomah has rejected the offer of a new contract with Barnet and has asked to leave the League Two club.
The 21-year-old's deal at Underhill expires at the end of the season, allowing him to join another club, but the Bees would be due compensation.
"We respect his decision and reluctantly accept his position," said chairman Tony Kleanthous.
"If an offer comes in that is acceptable to the club and the player then we will not stand in his way."
The contract Adomah has rejected would have made him the highest paid player in Barnet's history.
There is obviously a lot of interest in him and his stated decision to go could lead to a bidding war in January

"Albert has done a great job for us and we showed by our offer that we appreciate that he has done," said Kleanthous.
"We wish to make it clear that manager Ian Hendon will be given money to strengthen the squad if Adomah moves."
Adomah, who joined Barnet from Harrow Borough in January 2008, was transfer listed at his own request later that year after the Bees turned down a bid for him from Plymouth Argyle.
After being taken off the list in August 2008, he was the subject of failed bids from Blackpool, Watford and Norwich before the close of the last transfer window.
"There is obviously a lot of interest in him and his stated decision to go could lead to a bidding war in January," added Kleanthous.
