Manager Ian Hendon says Barnet are well positioned to stay in League Two, despite their 1-0 loss to Darlington.
It was the Bees' first home defeat since Boxing Day and leaves them six points above the relegation zone.
Hendon told BBC London 94.9: "You expect a fight, but we've got two games over lot of the sides below us, so it's in our hands.
"We're not one of the biggest clubs in the league, but we have a team that have been competing and winning games."
Barnet next travel to promotion-chasers Wycombe on Tuesday.
