Barnet's player of the year Joe Devera is likely to be sidelined for a month.
The 21-year-old defender suffered a medial ligament strain in Saturday's FA Cup 1-1 draw with Rochdale.
Midfielder Max Porter slotted in for Devera but it is likely that the Bees will look to bring in a loan player to cover the youngster's absence.
Devera will have a scan on Thursday to check the extent of the damage as physiotherapist Mark Stein is worried about possible cartilage damage.
He has only missed one game so far this season.
