Barnet have penalty reduced by FA

Barnet

League Two side Barnet have had their suspended 5,000 fine for poor disciplinary behaviour reduced to 2,000 by the Football Association.

The club earned the reprieve after dramatically improving their dismal disciplinary record last season.

Manager Paul Fairclough introduced a system in which only the captain spoke to the referee during a match.

And the FA have decided the London club should be rewarded for setting such a good example.
