Barnet have signed 19-year-old midfielder Max Porter for an undisclosed fee from Conference South side Bishop's Stortford. Former Southend trainee Porter had joined Stortford from Cambridge United last summer, and was voted as their player of the season.
"He is a very focused young man," boss Paul Fairclough told Barnet's website.
"The fact that both the fans and fellow players at Stortford voted him as player of the season speaks volumes."
