Gabriel Agbonlahor has pledged his future to Villa

Aston Villa's England Under-21 star Gabriel Agbonlahor has signed a new four-year contract.

Agbonlahor, 21, follows John Carew in pledging his future to Villa after he signed a one-year extension to keep him at the club until 2011.

Villa boss Martin O'Neill will be delighted to secure Agbonlahor, who scored in the 4-1 Uefa Cup win over FH Hafnarfjordur in Iceland.

He also played a key role as Villa finished sixth last season.
