Celtic fans will present Arsenal with a wall of sound on Tuesday
Arsenal will make silencing the crowd their priority as they face Celtic in the first leg of a qualifier for a place in the Champions League proper.
Celtic have an impressive home record in Europe and held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw last season.
"The atmosphere is always heated in Scotland," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said ahead of Tuesday's match.
"If we play well we can keep the atmosphere low-key and that is all down to our performance."
Celtic hold the attendance record for a European club tie - 133,961 turning up to see Jock Stein's side beat Leeds in the European Cup semi-final in 1970 at Hampden Park - but Wenger believes his side can cope with any atmosphere.
"We have been all over Europe to very heated places and we know by experience all that matters is how well we play," he added.
The Arsenal boss said Aiden McGeady, who scored two goals as the Bhoys beat Aberdeen 3-1 on Saturday, and Shaun Maloney could be the danger men for Celtic.
"McGeady looks to have all the ingredients, but then Maloney has come back here and when we played against Aston Villa he was always a good player, and dangerous," said Wenger.
"I believe that their two flanks in the last game were very dangerous and you could see that when they played against the Dinamo Moscow."
Arsenal go into the clash at Celtic Park full of confidence following their 6-1 Premier League opening day thrashing of Everton at Goodison Park.
Wenger felt the performance was a continuation of the Gunners' strong pre-season form, which included a comfortable 3-0 victory over Celtic's Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Emirates Cup.
However, despite this result and Wenger suggesting a similar level of ability between Rangers and Celtic, the 59-year-old feels the latter have the players to hurt his side.
"They and Rangers are the dominating force in Scotland and can take all the best players, said Wenger. "Scotland has always produced good players."
Wenger is hopeful midfield duo Theo Walcott and Abou Diaby will recover from back and groin injuries respectively to be fit for Tuesday.
