Altrincham have signed Tom Kearney after he agreed to terminate his contract with Wrexham.
The midfielder, 27, joined the Welsh side a year ago from Halifax, but found first-team opportunities limited.
Kearney started out at Everton before playing for Bradford between 2002 and 2006, and had recently returned to Goodison Park to coach their Academy.
"I'm working towards my football qualifications so playing part-time for Altrincham is a great move," he said.
