Hylton has come off the bench more times than he has started for Shots
Aldershot striker Danny Hylton says he is happy to work his way back into the starting 11.
The 20-year-old has scored twice in nine League Two appearances this season, including an equaliser in the Saturday's 1-1 draw with Grimsby Town.
He told BBC Surrey: "You've just got to keep yourself going, keep your head up, train well and when you get a chance try and take it.
"You've got to try and get your goals in the reserve games."
And Hylton says he will not be telling manager Kevin Dillon he should start after the Grimsby goal.
He said: "Some people do that, I don't, I just try and knuckle down in training and wait for my chance.
"I think it's better to show that you want to play by training hard, not knocking on his door and whinging, if you get down and knuckle down in training when you get your chance, show him that way."
