On-loan Aldershot striker Antonio German is happy with the opportunity to prove himself in Shots colours.
The 17-year-old Queens Park Rangers player made his Shots debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy loss to Hereford United.
He told BBC Surrey: "I'm happy that I could gain experience and show them what I can do so I can back to QPR and they can see.
"First team experience is valuable so my gaffer can see what I can do."
German remembers being at QPR when Aldershot boss Gary Waddock was first-team manager and admits knowing Waddock had a part to play in the short term deal.
"He's a great guy, he's seen me play before and he just recommended me to come and I'm here!"
