Aldershot fans have launched a special fund to help manager Gary Waddock cope with a reduction in his player budget for next season.
The money raised, which so far stands at just under £40,000, will be only available to Waddock himself.
Fund co-founder Nick Fryer told BBC Surrey: "It's something we've been talking to Gary and the board about over a period of time.
"We're absolutely delighted, It's good news for everyone I hope."
Fryer confirmed: "It's going to be Gary's money to do what he sees best.
"It could be a loan player, it could be towards a player's wages or it could be towards a transfer fee or it could be a combination of those three.
"Gary will come to the board firstly if his budget is used or the club can't afford it his next course of action will be to come to the player share."
