The Shots' leading scorer was carried off on a stretcher in Saturday's 2-1 win at Tamworth in the FA Trophy.

"We can't put a timescale on his return but it's not as bad as first thought," Manager Gary Waddock told BBC Southern Counties Radio.

"He's injured both ankle and knee but we probably won't know the full extent of the injury until Monday."

Waddock added: "We knew we were in for a hard game and all credit to Tamworth.

"They made it difficult for us to play the style of football that we like.

"We have to accept at times teams will try and stop us and they did that today. But we scored two goals away from home and it's nice to be in the semi-final."
