Coleman won promotion to the Football League with Accrington in 2006
Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman has encouraged football fans to turn their backs on the Premier League for League Two.
Coleman's side have just begun their third season back in the Football League and are 11th in the table.
He told BBC Radio Lancashire: "If you watch the Premier League, it's a different sport.
"You see some really boring games in the Premier League, I don't think you see too many at our level."
Coleman added: "I watch some of the Premier League games and I think I could play now in midfield for some of the teams.
"I wouldn't get pulled out of position because there isn't a position to get pulled out of.
"People get the ball in the centre circle un-opposed and can do what they want until the final third.
"You just stand there and pass it and it's a very slow game until you get to the final third, then they are all electric.
"Our league, I would say, is a different sport. The better ones who get the chance to operate at a higher level have to be technically gifted and have quick speed of thought.
"That is the difference between a good player and one scratching a living," he added.
Since returning to the Football League in 2006, Accrington have been involved in just one goalless draw and recorded last season's worst goal difference, conceding 83.
