Accrington boss John Coleman says winger Gary Roberts deserved his move to Championship side Ipswich. Stanley rejected a �50,000 bid for Roberts, 22, in the summer but he has joined joined Ipswich on loan with a view to a permanent move in January.
Coleman said: "We wouldn't stand in the lad's way, it's a great move for him and we have to let players progress.
"I know some fans are disappointed, I'm disappointed and some of the players are, but life goes on."
