Morton sprung a Scottish Cup shock with striker Alex Williams scoring twice to dump First Division Ross County out of the competition.

The 20-year-old opened the scoring at Victoria Park in the 19th minute for the Third Division side.

But County's new signing from Dundee United, David Winters, levelled the scores two minutes before the break.

However, County manager Alex Smith and his team were left stunned when former Stirling Albion forward Williams hit home the winner in the 62nd minute.
