1715: What a day! Hamilton and Kilmarnock breathe a huge sigh of relief as they banish any remaining fears of relegation.
But Falkirk and Inverness remain in the mire, and despite their win today, St Mirren could still be relegated.
It's now over to Hibs and Celtic at Easter Road tomorrow, as Gordon Strachan's side look to move back to the top of the table going into the last day of the season.
Thanks for your company and views/comments during what's proved to be a pulsating day's action.
Remember, highlights of today's games will be available on our website from 1800 BST on Sunday - including that controversial game at Ibrox.
We're back tomorrow for the game at Easter Road, see you then. Cheers!
1711: "So, Killie win to fight another season. One wonders though if the chairman and manager at Rugby Park can survive and remain in charge next term. Surely both of them have run their course and the club needs fresh blood?" ScotBot on My Sport
1710: At the top of the table, Rangers are three points clear of Celtic having played a game more.
Hearts' victory over Dundee United saw them clinch third spot in Csaba Laszlo's first season in charge at Tynecastle.
Dundee United are three points clear of Aberdeen in the race for the fourth and final European spot.
1700: The relegation battle is going to the last day of the season.
After today's results:
Hamilton have 38 points and are safe because Inverness lost at Rugby Park
St Mirren and Inverness have 37 points
Falkirk are bottom of the table with 35 points
Next week Inverness taken on Falkirk, Motherwell entertain Kilmarnock and St Mirren are at home to Hamilton.
Falkirk, St Mirren and Inverness are still not safe.
1652: Kevin Kyle's winning goal for Kilmarnock means the Ayrshire club cannot be relegated.

"There's a tear in his eye." BBC Radio Scotland commentator Paul Mitchell
1647: RED CARD
Falkirk defender Steven Pressley is sent off for a stray elbow challenge while contesting a high ball with Billy Mehmet. A miserable afternoon for the Falkirk number 10, whose mistake contributed the St Mirren's opening goal.
Mehmet is taken off and applies an ice pack against his cheek.
1646: Three minutes remaining at the Falkirk Stadium and St Mirren on course for a crucial three points.

John Sutton makes Hamilton pay for their profligacy as he scores Motherwell's third goal of the day after good work by Cillian Sheridan.

Andy Dorman feeds Billy Mehmet on the left and the striker squares for Dorman who times his run perfectly to slide the ball home from about eight yards. That's his 12th goal of the season.
1629: "United have created no magic in the final third. Hearts are looking pretty comfortable on a 2-0 lead." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Craig Paterson
1626: Time to dust down the "as things stand..." line again.
If the score remain the same, Falkirk would replace St Mirren at the bottom of the table - with the Bairns on 35 points - two points behind the Buddies.
Inverness and Hamilton would be tied on 38 points, with Kilmarnock on 39.
1625: Dundee United midfielder Prince Buaben heads harmlessly off target as United's frustration continues at Tynecastle.
1624: "The only way Hamilton are going to get back into the game is if Graeme Smith makes a mistake - he has the habit of going for balls and not getting them." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan.
1622: Two chances in quick succession at the Falkirk Stadium. Billy Mehmet's header was well saved by Dani Kallo. Play raged to the other end and Steve Lovell smashed a shot straight at Mark Howard. Great stuff! St Mirren still leading.
1617: Dundee United manager Craig Levein is definitely going for it now as Danny Swanson and Andis Shala come on for David Robertson and Francisco Sandaza, respectively.
1614: GOAL!
Hamilton 0-2 Motherwell
Cillian Sheridan doubles Well's lead with a goal of stunning simplicity. The on-loan Celtic striker skips past Accies goalkeeper Tomas Cerny and calmly slots the ball home.
1613: "Joel Thomas is running the channel well. Hopefully it'll give him a bit of confidence and, with Kenny Duechar on, we might see a goal from Accies in this game yet." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan.
1613: Garry Kenneth heads clear under pressure from Calum Elliot as Hearts go in search of a killer third goal.
1612: A torrential downpour at the Falkirk Stadium appears to have dampened the enthusiasm of both sides. The game has gone very flat after a first 45 minutes packed full of incidents.
1611: "Inverness could now finish off Falkirk for good with some quick goals here." Insider on My Sport
1610: Falkirk manager John Hughes looks ill-at-ease on the touchline. The Bairns have been outplayed and outmuscled by St Mirren so far.
1609: There's little happening in the second half at Tynecastle with Hearts content to sit on their lead and Dundee United struggling to work their way back into the match.
1608: "I'm not surprised Jim Jefferies is sending out his subs to warm up as Killie haven't started the second half well." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Pat Nevin
1606: Motherwell striker Cillian Sheridan nods an early header wide as Well look to double their lead. Hamilton need a point to secure their place in the SPL.
1605: "Come on Saints - let's get another goal or two and make the game safe and help our goal difference into the bargain." Paisley_Saint_Doug on My Sport
1604: The second half gets under way at Rugby Park and the Falkirk Stadium. Carl Finnigan comes on in place of Neil McCann as Bairns boss John Hughes looks for an equaliser.
1603: "Hamilton will be hoping to get an equaliser so that next Saturday the pressure is off and they'll know they'll be playing SPL football next season." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan.
1602: We're back under way at New Douglas Park and Tynecastle.
1600: "C'mon the Bairns! Got to pull it out of the bag today. A trip to Inverness needing a win on the last day is something I would hope to avoid. Not so much the opponent, it's just so far away!" Steevo11 on My Sport
1544: David Goodwillie is foiled again by Marian Kello, who makes a finger tip save to deny the United striker.
1543: "If St Mirren get relegated Dundee Utd have got to sign Jack Ross. What is it about United unearthing good defenders? Wilkie & Dixon to name but a few." Anonymous text on 80295
1541: So, as things stand, a victory for St Mirren would see them move off the bottom of the SPL table and move two points clear of Falkirk. The Bairns would drop to the foot of the table, ensuring the relegation battle would be taken to the final day of the season.
St Mirren striker Billy Mehmet collects Hugh Murray's headed pass after a dismal headed clearance by Falkirk defender Steven Pressley and races through to slide the ball under Dani Mallo.
The Buddies fully merit their lead and Pressley won't want to watch his role in the goal again. What a howler!
1538: "Garry Hay needs to get into the game for Kilmarnock. He's good enough, but he's got to want to get involved." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Pat Nevin
1537: Andy Dorman creates a bit of room for himself in the Falkirk penalty area but blazes his shot high over the crossbar. Bottom side St Mirren are doing everything they can to improve a dismal run of just one win in 16 league matches.
1536: "In the last 10 minutes or so, Joel Thomas has fallen out of the game, he needs more support from Derek Lyle if he's going to get forward and threaten the Motherwell goal." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan
1535: Dundee United striker Francisco Sandaza is booked for simulation after going down too easily in the box.
1534: "Six almost-goals in about 25 minutes, where's this coming from? I'm not complaining. C'mon Billy, Shuggy, Dorman...anybody put that thing in the back of the net!" Captain_Slow on My Sport urges St Mirren to get the goal their play richly deserves.
1533: David Robertson chests the ball down and volleys over the crossbar as United try in vain to reduce the deficit at Tynecastle.
1532: Falkirk manager John Hughes gives his side a bit of a verbal blast from the touchline. It's been all St Mirren in the opening half hour and big Yogi must be concerned.
1531: Dundee United manager Craig Levein is making a substitution to try to change the course of the match with defender Sean Dillon replaced by on-loan Celtic right-back Paul Caddis.
1530: "Inverness are by far the most impressive of the bottom six sides I've seen come to play Kilmarnock at Rugby Park recently." BBC Radio Scotland commentator Liam McLeod.
1528: "Hamilton need to try and up the pace and get themselves in about Motherwell if they want to get anything out of this game." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan.
1527: Andy Dorman swings a dangerous free kick into the Falkirk penalty area and Billy Mehmet's flick on sends the ball narrowly wide of the target.
1528: "It's a tough, tough shift now for Dundee United." BBC Radio Scotland commentator Paul Mitchell
1525: GOAL!
Hearts 2-0 Dundee United
Bruno Aguiar hooks the ball past United goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska from Calum Elliot's set-up.
1522: GOAL!
Hamilton 0-1 Motherwell
David Clarkson fires the visitors in front at New Douglas Park for his 14th goal of the season. The striker finishing with a predatory strike after Cillian Sheridan's effort was blocked.
The Steelmen add to the Accies' relegation fears.
1521: Hearts have been awarded a free-kick in Bruno Aguiar territory. How will the Portuguese midfielder do? Lukasz Zaluska tips Aguiar's shot over.
1518: "We've just been told Ipswich boss Roy Keane is here at New Douglas Park for the match today. We wonder who he could be keeping an eye on." BBC Scotland commentator Scott Davie.
James McCarthy and James McArthur would be good bets for the reason behind Keane's trip north.
1517: This is incredible! St Mirren full-back Jack Ross thunders a long-range shot against the junction of post and crossbar, with Dani Mallo rooted to the spot.
Short of Saints boss Gus MacPherson running onto the pitch, David Pleat-style, and wrestling Dani Mallo to the ground while his side shoot, the visitors are doing all they can to break the deadlock
1516: "It's disappointing that James McArthur got a yellow for that challenge on David Clarkson - Clarkson has been letting out yelps at every tackle since the start of the game, so it was a bit harsh." BBC Scotland pundit Steve Cowan at New Douglas Park.
1515: St Mirren are absolutely pounding the Falkirk penalty box and it needs a great Tam Scobbie block to keep out a powerful strike from Andy Dorman. Will Haining then sends an ambitious side-foot volley wide from the corner kick.
1513: Dundee United striker David Goodwillie flicks towards goal but the alert Marian Kello diverts the ball wide to preserve Hearts' lead.
1513: Dani Mallo is a busy lad in the opening stages at the Falkirk. This time the Bairns keeper is rather slow getting down but does enough to scramble away a curling effort from Gary Mason.
1512: "Brilliant Saints! This is more like it boys. Come on you Saints!!" Captain_Slow cheers on the Buddies over on My Sport
Lee Wallace fires Hearts in front at Tynecastle. The left-back robs Sean Dillon and rifles the ball home for his second goal of the season. As things stand, the Jambos have a vice-like grip on third spot.
1508: St Mirren defender Jack Ross fires a superb shot towards the top corner, but Dani Mallo, with Ninja-like reflexes, tips the ball away for a corner.
From the resulting corner, Hugh Murray hits the crossbar with a glancing header. It's all St Mirren!
1506: St Mirren have come flying out of the traps at the Falkirk Stadium and have John Hughes's side pinned in their own half.
1505: Hearts' David Obua sees his shot deflected wide as the home side enjoy the ascendancy in the opening stages against Dundee United.
1504: The huge travelling support at the Falkirk Stadium claim in vain for an early penalty as Lee Bullen gives St Mirren striker Billy Mehmet a wee nudge at a corner kick.
1503: BBC Radio Scotland pundit Pat Nevin has just told the Sportsound listeners that a group of Inverness supporters WALKED to today's game at Rugby Park.
When they got to the ground they celebrated by... having a quick lap of honour. Hope they had comfy shoes on for that kind of energy-sapping pursuit.
1453: "This is a big weekend. If Saints win and Killie win both Saints, Hamilton and Killie will be virtually safe and Inverness versus Falkirk next week will be a cracker. If results go the wrong way St Mirren will be down. Saints haven't lost to Falkirk all season- come on ye Saints!" FlyingScotNo1 on My Sport
1447: "As a St Mirren fan, I'm not sure if I want Inverness or Kilmarnock to win today..." Captain_Slow on My Sport
As things stand: Kilmarnock and Hamilton have 38 points, Inverness are in 10th spot with 37, Falkirk are second bottom with 35 and St Mirren are rooted to the foot of the table on 34 points.
It's all to play for!
1444: "My bum's been squeaking for days in anticipation for today's game at Falkirk. C'mon you Saints!" Saintdorman on My Sport
What an image to conjure with! The wait is nearly over...
1436: Has everyone got their breath back? What a game at Ibrox. Not the greatest spectacle, but enough talking points to keep fans going for the next few years!
Rangers move three points clear of Celtic in the SPL title race, with Gordon Strachan's side facing Hibs at Easter Road tomorrow. For Aberdeen, that defeat could prove a hammer blow to their European aspirations.
They are three points behind fourth-placed Dundee United, having played a game more.
Now our attention can turn to the relegation dogfight - and the race for a European spot.
Rangers hold on for victory and move back to the top of the SPL.
1421: Aberdeen are huffing and puffing, but with little cheer.
1419: "Gers, just don't have the bottle for this!!! We need more goals to stand any chance of winning the league. Im quite sure Celtic will be knocking them in against Hibs." Jato84 on My Sport
1416: Gary McDonald sends a header wide of Neil Alexander's goal after a cracking cross from goal-hero Michael Paton. Rangers have a little over three minutes to hold on for victory.
1415: "For all the bad press that the SPL split gets, it sure makes these final games a lot more interesting compared to seeing the Old Firm gubbing Killie or St Mirren 5-0." KillieJimbo SOFBTRC on My Sport
1414: Nacho Novo continues to misfire in front of goal as he sends a woeful effort wide after finding space and time in the box. A howler from the combative Spaniard! The Rangers fans rub their eyes in bewilderment.
1412: Final throw of the dice by Jimmy Calderwood as the Aberdeen manager brings on Chris Maguire for Javan Vidal.
1411: The small group of Aberdeen fans inside Ibrox belt out a song of encouragement to their battle-weary troops. Nine minutes for the Dons to find an equaliser, or for Rangers to give their goal difference a healthier glow.
1410: Kyle Lafferty is withdrawn for John Fleck. The former Burnley man won't want to remember this game.
1409: "Aberdeen are going to have a right go now - the game has changed. Rangers, at two up looked like they were going to score more goals, but now it's all Aberdeen."BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds
1407: "COME ON YOU REDS! What a goal from Paton that was fantastic finishing. the race for Europe is still on." Tux789 on My Sport
Suddenly the Dons are playing with a bit of purpose.
1406: GOAL!
Rangers 2-1 Aberdeen
SubstituteMichael Paton gives Aberdeen a lifeline, spinning away from David Weir's challenge to fire home from eight yards.
1403: Gary McDonald misses a sitter for the dismal Dons. Put clear by a superb pass from Sone Aluko, he balloons his shot as it scrapes the bar on its way over. That could be curtains for Aberdee's chances of salvaging something from this game.
1401: "David Weir was starting senior football before Aberdeen sub Michael Paton was born."BBC Scotland commentator David Begg on the longevity of the Rangers defender and former Scotland international
1401: "Ricky Foster, you are awful." Scotland's12thman on My Sport
It promises to be a sorry, painful coach trip back to the north east for the hapless defender.
1400: Aberdeen are crumbling quicker than a digestive biscuit in a cup of tea. Nacho Novo spurns a great chance to make it three as he sends a tame effort towards Langfield.
1357: "It's a great goal for Rangers, because with 23 minutes left. They've got to have a go now."BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds
1357: GOAL!
Rangers 2-0 Aberdeen
Kenny Miller doubles Rangers' lead with a free header inside the box from Nacho Novo's corner. Richard Foster, looked as though he should've been marking Miller, but his wretched afternoon continues.
1354: GOAL!
Rangers 1-0 Aberdeen
Own goal by Richard Foster. An eye-wateringly calamitous error by the defender. He slammed Kenny Miller's cross past the helpless Jamie Langfield.
1353: Aberdeen striker Lee Miller is replaced by Michael Paton and I'm not sure if Miller actually touched the ball today.
1351: Barry Ferguson and Nacho Novo come on for Pedro Mendes and Kris Boyd. The latter won't have the chance to add to his 100 goals in 112 starts for Rangers.
"I have to say, I'm surprised at Boyd coming off." BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds
1350: "Ferguson might get a response from SOME Rangers fans but only those with short-term memories who forget how RUBBISH he was before 'Boozegate'."Steve in Irvine on 80295.
1349: Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield superbly palms away a fierce Kenny Miller shot and Kris Boyd is agonisingly close to profiting. We're getting closer to a goal...
1347: Kyle Lafferty's miserable afternoon continues as he shins a low cross past the post. That was a great chance.
1345: Sone Aluko almost slips through the blue ring of steel that is the Rangers defence when a pass to Lee Miller may have been a better choice.
Then, Kenny Miller dithers in the box, much to the chagrin of the restless home fans at Ibrox. Still goalless with a little over half an hour remaining.
1343: Kyle Lafferty's low shot is deflected wide by Javan Vidal. Corner to Rangers, and deposed captain Barry Ferguson is warming up...
1342: Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood urges his side to move forward; they're sitting far too deep and playing a dangerous game.
1341: "Aberdeen are getting a lot of possession, but it's forcing them back. Rangers need the ball if they want to get something out of this game."BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds
1340: Rangers midfielder Pedro Mendes tries to play in Kenny Miller, but the the Portuguese hits it out for a goal-kick with the outside of his boot. That incident sums up the whole game.
1338: Aberdeen are struggling to get the ball up to isolated striker Lee Miller. Richard Foster breaks free on the left, but Steven Whittaker snuffs out the danger.
1336: Looks as though Steven Whittaker has been drafted into the centre of defence alongside David Weir, with Steve Davis also playing a deeper role.
1334: The second half gets under way at Ibrox; an eerie quiet inside the ground.
1332: "Seeing at at normal speed in the first viewing, it looks as though contact has been made. I have every sympathy with the referee, and if anything happened, it's of Kyle Lafftery's doing," the views of former SFA referee Kenny Clark on Sportsound
You can see highlights of the game at Ibrox from 1800 BST on Sunday. The two red cards will trigger heated debate long after the dust settles on this season.
1330: "Under the laws of the game, the Rangers player deserved to be sent off because of him committing serious foul play. The player had one or more feet of the ground with the studs clearly showing, therefore this is a red card. I am just learning how to become a referee and this is the rules." (bigmc1_9) WGS - Legend on My Sport
1322: "Still no justice for Aberdeen as far as I'm concerned. We've had a player sent off for being scythed down then head-butted. Rangers have had a player sent off for going in, studs-first with his feet off the ground and connecting with our goalkeeper's face - going for the ball or not!" Rubinho-escocia on My Sport
Kenny Miller and David Weir ask referee Stuart Dougal for his views on the red cards. But the whistler, in his last season as a Grade One official, points the pair to the tunnel and keeps his counsel.
Precious little goalmouth action at Ibrox, but an avalanche of talking points and controversies.
1317: Injury time at the end of the first half at Ibrox and we're still goalless. The two red cards have disrupted the flow of the game, but while Mulgrew's sending off seemed to suck the atmosphere out of Ibrox, Bougherra's has brought a furious crackle to proceedings.
1316: "That's a terrible challenge on Jamie Langfield. That could have been a serious injury."Frazer in London, via text, on 80295.
1315: "The ref probably knew he had made a mistake with Mulgrew and was looking to even it up!"followfollow80 on My Sport
1313: Peter Pawlett sends in a beautiful shot from the edge of the box, and it's brilliantly tipped over the bar by Neil Alexander. What a save!
1312: "I think it's accidental - he didn't go in deliberately. His intention was to go for the ball." BBC Scotland pundit Chick Young.
Rangers manager Walter Smith leaves his perch in the stand to offer some tactical advice to his charges from the edge of his technical area.
1310: RED CARD
Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra is sent off after a late challenge on Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield.
Replays show his boot was raised as he challenged for the ball near the touchline, but there didn't look to be any malice in the Algerian's challenge. Two shocking red cards; both undeserved. Incredible scenes at Ibrox.
1308: The Ranges fans inside Ibrox are getting a bit twitchy. Aberdeen's formation is limiting the chances Walter Smith's side have managed to create.
1307: "Rangers are doing it all wrong for me - they're playing a back four, deep against a striker who doesn't have pace."BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds.
1305: "Lafferty catches the man late - yellow card. Lafferty puts his head towards Mulgrew - red Card. Yet Aberdeen are now down to 10 men and there task is now even harder than it was in the first place. Another example of the fantastic standards of refereeing in Scotland." Saintdorman on My Sport
It's a shame, because the sending off has left the game a bit flat.
1303: Maurice Edu's cross is sent towards goal by Rangers defender Sasa Papac - who is once again in an advanced role - but the post rescues the Dons again. The game is coming to the boil nicely...
1302: Steven Davis's shot is deflected onto the post by Sasa Papac, but Aberdeen get it clear. That's the closest we've come to a goal. Just over 30 minutes gone and the Dons are holding firm.
1301: Rangers claim for a penalty as Lee Mair looks to clear, with the ball dangerously close to his hand. No penalty, says Stuart Dougal.
1300: Kyle Lafferty is booed by the Aberdeen fans and cheered by the home supporters. The Northern Ireland international wins a corner kick, but the Dons repel the attack.
1257: "That is disgusting from Lafferty!"Kevin from Aberdeen, via SMS on 80295.
1255: "The quality of refereeing in Scotland is becoming beyond a joke! Shocking decision from Dougal." Sheeptastic on My Sport
Like Olympic champion Usain Bolt, this one will run and run.
1253: Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood cuts a forlorn figure as he paces his technical area - no doubt trying to plan how his 10-man side will survive the expected Rangers onslaught. The Dons have actually looked the more impressive side since Mulgrew's dismissal.
1250: "Lafferty is a disgrace. Shocking play, conning the ref." Tux789 on My Sport
It could be another one for the Scottish Football Association's review panel. Or will it? Not sure how Mulgrew will plead his case there, but his red card should be rescinded.
1247: RED CARD Aberdeen defender Charlie Mulgrew is given his marching orders after clashing with Kyle Lafferty.
Referee Stuart Dougal won't want to see that again. The Northern Ireland international went down as though he'd been shot. Very harsh on the Aberdeen defender.
"You have to look at Lafferty's part in this - he went face to face with Mulgrew and went down as if he was pole-axed by a sniper." BBC Scotland pundit Chick Young.
1245: Rangers midfielder Steve Davis is swamped by red shirts just inside Aberdeen territory as the hosts struggle to break the Dons' resolve. Precious little in the way of goalmouth action in the opening 15 minutes.
1242: Kyle Lafferty gallops away from Javan Vidal, but his shot is blocked by Lee Mair. Bougherra heads well over from the corner-kick.
Still goalless after 12 minutes at a surprisingly quiet Ibrox.
1240: Sone Aluko indulges in a clever wee turn or two wide on the right, but the Aberdeen winger ruins his impressive display of skill with a wild cross that evades his team-mates.
"I think that was a shot more than a cross - it was neither in the end." BBC Scotland commentator David Begg's take on Aluko's effort
1239: "Aberdeen have started well, but Rangers are turning the screw now," according to BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds on Sportsound.
But Langfield hasn't been troubled so far.
1238: "As expected, it appears as though Jimmy's gone for a negative 4-5-1 line-up. Is he trying to help his boyhood heroes out? I'm not optimistic whatsoever." Sheeptastic_1903 is a far from optimistic Aberdeen fan on My Sport
1236: Rangers are enjoying the lion-share of possession in the opening seven minutes, but have yet to test Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield.
1235: "It's unavoidable to make a quip about Broadfoot's egg-on-face incident. What's your best Thomas?" asks FoxForever on My Sport.
Mmmm... I'm assuming the egg in question was a 'free-Ranger'. A poor yoke, I know. Okay, I'll get my coat.
1234: "If Aberdeen could turn things around and win this game it would be a great boost to them getting into the Europa League."BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds
1233: Scott Severin, playing in the unusual role of centre half today, whips the ball away from Rangers striker Kenny Miller just as he is about to pull the trigger in the box.
1232: Aberdeen defender Charlie Mulgrew whips in an early free-kick, but Madjid Bougherra heads clear. An impressive start by the Dons.
1231: Barry Ferguson sits, arms folded, on the Ibrox bench. What price the midfielder coming on today and scoring what could prove to be a crucial goal in the title race?
1230: We're under way at Ibrox.
1229: "I think Rangers will win the game - Aberdeen will have their moments - but if Rangers show intent, they should win. But I don't think it'll be enough to win the league."BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds - who predicts a 3-1 home win for Rangers
1227: "Rangers will beat Aberdeen today and we'll beat Hibs tomorrow - it will go down to the last day!" Tweedy on My Sport
1225: "Hope the Bairns will do the business today and see us safe. Relegating St Mirren in the process would be the icing on the cake." krisbairn06 on My Sport
It's not a day for faint hearts, Kris! Nerves will be jangling at more than a few SPL grounds today.
Ibrox is full to capacity and, by the looks of it, Aberdeen have brought a healthy number of supporters from the north east. Will they see a first league win for the Dons at Ibrox since 1991?
1220: Barry Ferguson looked to have been ruled out of the title run-in after tearing a calf muscle in a reserve game last month. But the midfielder, stripped of the captaincy after his breach of discipline while on Scotland duty, makes the bench today.
Are Rangers fans happy he's back in the fold? Offer your thoughts here Join the debate
1205: TEAM NEWS FROM IBROX
Rangers make three changes to the side that drew with Hibs in midweek. Steven Smith and Andrius Velicka drop out of the squad and Christian Dailly drops to the bench. Sasa Papac, Kyle Lafferty and fit-again Kenny Miller come into the starting line-up.
Depose captain Barry Ferguson earns a place on the bench.
Aberdeen midfielder Mark Kerr returns from suspension in front of a makeshift back four of Charlie Mulgrew, Lee Mair, Scott Severin and Javan Vidal.
Jamie Smith is injured and Chris Maguire drops to the bench.
1200: Good afternoon everyone. What a day's Scottish Premier League football we have in prospect...
The race for the title is going down to the wire, as Rangers look to leapfrog Celtic and move back to the top of the table.
Walter Smith's side trail their Old Firm rivals on goal difference, and know a high-scoring victory over Aberdeen at Ibrox will give them a massive advantage ahead of Celtic's visit to Easter Road tomorrow.
For Aberdeen, victory at Ibrox would keep alive their hopes of clinching a European place.
But the Dons don't have their defensive troubles to seek, with Zander Diamond and Andrew Considine sidelined as they look to secure their first league win at Ibrox since 1991.
Then, at three o'clock, our attention turns to the relegation battle and the race for a European spot.
Falkirk entertain basement side St Mirren, Hamilton face Motherwell and Kilmarnock host Inverness with only Motherwell guaranteed of their SPL safety.
And if that's not enough to whet your football appetite, we also have Hearts against Dundee United at Tynecastle, with the third-placed Jambos two points clear of Craig Levein's side.
As always, we want your views as the action unfolds, so add your thoughts on My Sport or send us a text on 80295 and we'll include your pearls of wisdom and tactical musings.
