1603: So, Rangers hold onto top spot in the SPL on goal difference with 12 games remaining. Celtic's travel sickness continues as they let their lead slip in a fairly dull encounter on a shocker of a Fir Park pitch.
Thanks again for your company this afternoon, cheers!
1600: You reckon Motherwell striker David Clarkson (7.29) was the most impressive performer at Fir Park this afternoon. Remember you can still vote using the player rater
1557: "I can't believe people are calling for Strachan's head. Celtic are joint top and going for four titles on the bounce. Get a grip." Paulcarm on My Sport
1553: "Possible the worst result of the season, Strachan's time is up!" Colly from Ireland via text.
1550: "Celtic have dropped 10 points in their last six away games." BBC Radio Scotland commentator David Begg
Gordon Strachan's side haven't secured an away win since beating Rangers on 27 December.
Rangers hold onto top spot in the SPL on goal difference, while Motherwell's point sees them leapfrog Hibs and move into sixth place.
1549: FULL-TIME
1547: Two minutes of injury-time begins at Fir Park.
1544: "Can't even start going in to how poor Celtic are, no matter the result today. Strachan must go!" Mark from Troon via text
1543: Georgios Samaras can't profit from a superb Shunsuke Nakamura free-kick as he sends a header over the bar from eight yards.
1540: "What a different game it is now!" BBC Radio Scotland commentator David Begg
1538: GOAL
Motherwell 1-1 Celtic
Paul Quinn equalises with the hosts' first attempt on goal. Celtic fail to deal with Jim O'Brien's cross and Quinn sends a low shot past the helpless Boruc from just inside the box. Game on!
1534: Celtic have enjoyed 60% of possession today, but I can't remember a game with so few attempts on goal. Pretty dismal fare.
1533: "Am I right in saying Motherwell haven't even had a shot on goal yet? What a poor performance." brysongers on My Sport
I can't remember Artur Boruc being called into action today. But there's still 14 minutes to go for Motherwell to put that right.
1530: "The goal has raised Celtic's confidence and really knocked the stuffing out of Motherwell. They look in shock and are just running around aimlessly." memnoch666 on My Sport
1518: "Aiden McGeady is going to come on for Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. But Celtic have got the breakthrough." BBC Radio Scotland commentator David Begg
1516: GOAL Celtic 1-0 Motherwell
Celtic striker Scott McDonald breaks the deadlock after Motherwell defender Stephen Craigan fluffs an attempted clearance after Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink had headed the ball on.
McDonald showed composure to slide the ball past Smith.
1511: "A bounce of the ball could win the game today. Motherwell need to get more support for John Sutton up front. The tempo is being lifted at last." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod
1507: "If Celtic fail to score today are they going to go 4-2-4 in their next game? And if that one is nil-nil are they switching to 4-1-5?" memnoch666 on My Sport
Neither side offering much in front of goal so far...
1505: Celtic manager Gordon Strachan looks dazed with what he's watching at the moment. Passes going astray and very little of note going forward - the game needs a sprinkling of genius to light up proceedings!
1502: The second half gets under way.
1457: "I think Motherwell are in with a real chance of winning this game. They play more of a long ball game, which might cause Celtic some problems." Dale from Stirling via text.
Dale, we need something to happen in the second half. This has been pretty grim so far!
1445: HALF-TIME
1443: Stephen Hughes sends a high cross into the Celtic box, but John Sutton is outmuscled by the visitors' defence.
1441: Five minutes to go until half-time and the ball should be put in a bucket of ice to recover from this battering...
1435: Celtic target man Vennegoor of Hesselink heads well over the bar after a wicked cross from Andreas Hinkel. Still goalless.
1434: "I'm not an expert like Billy, Murdo or Strachan but in my humble opinion, Venegoor is a pointless player. He could be sent off for persistent fouling every week, never wins a header and doesn't run. Rubbish!"Greig Wallace in Perth via text
1429: Motherwell manager Mark McGhee barks some tactical instructions to his players. After describing the midweek Scottish Cup defeat by St Mirren as one of the biggest disappointments of his managerial career, he must be happier today.
1426: Remember, you can vote for your man of the match using our player rater here
1422: Motherwell midfielder Maros Kimpl is booked for clattering Lee Naylor and sending the Celtic left-back into the Motherwell dugout. "That's why he's called The Destroyer," says BBC Radio Scotland pundit Billy Dodds
1420: Gary Caldwell threads a great ball through to Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, but the Dutchman's effort is comfortably saved by Graeme Smith.
1417: Both sides are struggling to retain possession for more than a few seconds - the ball is being battered about amid a blur of legs, heads and boots. It's like an Under-10s game against the Anthill Mob.
1416: "The pitch was the main reason for Accies defeat there last week - impossible to play the ball on the deck. The threat of a fine is not enough - maybe a carrot and stick approach would work" zarrafak on My Sport Join the debate
1413: Motherwell's Jim O'Brien thunders down the right-hand side after skipping away form Lee Naylor, but Georgios Samaras saves his team-mates blushes by getting back to clear.
1408: "You've just got to go route-one today and miss out the midfield." BBC Rado Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod
Precious little in the way of silky football in the opening 10 minutes.
1404: What a chance... Celtic strikers Scott McDonald and Georgios Samaras play a neat one-two before the Australian blazes a great chance over the bar.
1401: "Gordon is going to a 4-3-3 and with Caldwell he can change it to 5-2-3. I wonder how this will work, all 3 strikers (Macdonald, Sameras, JVOH)." Celtic 2585 on My Sport
1400: We're under way at Fir Park.
1357: Rod Stewart is among the fans at Fir Park. Will he be belting out The First Cut Is The Deepest after looking at the state of this much-maligned pitch?
1351: "Are Motherwell trying to make a bit of extra cash by harvesting crops? I swear I saw furrows on it!" Lanky-ffc on My Sport
1347: Players from both sides are warming up on the pitch and to be fair it doesn't look great. In fact, some patches look as bad as Mickey Rourke's face in The Wrestler!
"Enough complaints about the pitch. It's (practically) grass and it's regulation size with lines and a pair of goalposts. Thus, it's playable," says Alan_Compton on My Sport
Celtic: Boruc, Hinkel, Loovens, McManus, Naylor, Scott Brown, Caldwell, Nakamura, Samaras, McDonald, Vennegoor of Hesselink. Subs: Mark Brown, Hartley, Flood, Crosas, Hutchinson, McGeady, O'Dea.
Referee: I Brines
1340: "There must be a maximum of 4 blades of grass on Fir Park. Unplayable." Meeks 88 gets us off and running on My Sport.
1335: The state of the Fir Park pitch is coming in for some criticism on BBC Radio's Sportsound. "It's a disgrace for the SPL - it shouldn't be acceptable," is pundit Murdo MacLeod's view.
1320: Good afternoon. Are you sitting comfortably? We've got a cracking SPL clash for your delectation this afternoon with Motherwell hosting Celtic at Fir Park.
The hosts are looking to leapfrog Hibs and move into sixth spot, while Celtic need maximum points to reclaim top spot from Rangers.
As ever, BBC Radio Scotland will provide commentaries from all the games which you can tune into via this website.
"Is everybody in? The ceremony is about to begin," The Doors frontman Jim Morrison once said.
We're about 40 minutes away from the main event at Fir Park and I want your comments during the afternoon via: My Sport and text on 80295.
