Second-half strikes from Gareth Wardlaw and Paul McQuade ensured Cowdenbeath will play-off with Brechin for a spot in Division One.
With the tie balanced at 1-1, Cowden keeper David Hay made a great save from Bryan Prunty's early strike.
Wardlaw put the Blue Brazil in front in the 59th minute when he latched on to a pass from Scott McBride.
Wardlaw then turned provider to tee up McQuade and he made no mistake with his finish eight minutes from time.
