John Dempster's injury-time strike earned Cowdenbeath a draw with Alloa in the first leg of their Scottish First Division Play-Off semi-final.

The Wasps started brightly and Chris Townsley fed David Gormley to fire the ball past David Hay after 16 minutes.

Joseph Mbu had an opportunity to equalise almost immediately, but he missed the target with his header.

But the hosts were not to be denied and Dempster's last-gasp effort from Mark Baxter's cross secured a draw.
