Aidrie United set up a First Division play-off final against Ayr United following victory over Peterhead.
Peterhead's Stuart McKay scored his seventh goal of the season on the stroke of half-time, flicking on from a free-kick for the opener.
But Airdrie's Marc Smyth got on the end of a corner to steer a 63rd minute header in and ease the anxiety.
John Baird, who netted in the 2-0 first leg win, sealed the tie with a tap-in late in the game.
