Motherwell's reward for knocking holders Hibernian out of the CIS Insurance Cup is a fourth-round home tie against Rangers. Celtic will entertain Hearts in a match that will be shown live on television by BBC Scotland.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle must go to Pittodrie to play Aberdeen, winners of the tournament in 1995.
Hamilton Accies, the only non-SPL side left in the competition, face a trip to Tannadice, home of Dundee United.
The current First Division leaders were comfortable 2-0 winners against Kilmarnock in the previous round.
But Accies manager Billy Reid thought being drawn away made the prospect of an "SPL double" more difficult to realise.
"We knew were going to get Premier League opposition, but like any other team we would have liked a home tie," he said.

"Dundee United, like us, have started the season well, although obviously at a higher level.
"It is two strong defences and it will be an interesting game."
Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist thought that Motherwell would be confident of an upset after their own fine start to the season.
"We are now going in against a team who will fancy their chances," said McCoist, whose side eased past Third Division leaders East Fife on Wednesday.
"It looks like being a tasty cup tie with a semi-final place up for grabs.
"Of course, we will get an indication for what we will face this weekend, when we play Motherwell at Fir Park."

The Scottish Premier League clash is the first meeting of the two sides this season, with Rangers now scheduled to return to Fir Park next month in the knockout competition.
Motherwell summer signing Stephen Hughes said he and his team-mates were relishing the prospect of facing his former club.
"It's a good draw for us - albeit it's a difficult one," the midfielder told his club website.
"It's a home tie, so that's both a bonus and an advantage, I'd say.
"The boys are all buzzing with the news and we're all looking forward to it.
"As a former Old Firm player, I know exactly how difficult it is to come to Fir Park looking for a result.
"The pitch is tight and the fans are loud and right on top of you.
"It can be quite an intimidating place and I've certainly never had an easy game here whilst in opposition."
