Snow is causing disruption to the sporting calendar

Aberystwyth Town's Welsh Premier match with Airbus on Wednesday has been called off as their Park Avenue pitch is frozen due to the cold weather.

The west Wales club had a 1200 GMT pitch inspection and a local referee has deemed the "pitch unplayable."

The match was to be the only midweek Welsh Premier fixture as TNS' game with Llanelli on Tuesday was also postponed as the big freeze continues to disrupt.

The champions are set to rearrange their Llanelli game for 29 December.
